Our Company History
SPORTSMAN LAWN & LANDSCAPE started when Brad McCully wanted to earn a little money. In 1990, he asked Eddie McCully, his dad, to borrow the mowing equipment to start mowing a few yards in the Ridgewood neighborhood and it grew from there. In 1993, Brad got his driver’s license, and his dad gave him an eight-foot trailer to further make his business grow. During the summer of 1995 the first crew was formed of Sportsman Lawn Service. That was the company name for the next 3 years while growing at a steady pace. The name of the company became SPORTSMAN LAWN & LANDSCAPE on January 1, 1998. Later that year Brad became licensed to landscape and spray, and also added two additional team members. In October of 2000, SPORTSMAN LAWN & LANDSCAPE moved to its current location on Eason Boulevard and now the company grosses over $1.5 million in sales per year while employing 20+ individuals.

Founder/Owner
Brad started Sportsman Lawn & Landscape in 1995 and has been dedicated to its success and growth since then. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family which includes lots of baseball. He also enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Sometimes just the fact of being outdoors in nature is enough.

Marketing/Office Manager
Jessi joined Sportsman in 2007. Since this time she has been in control of the office and the day to day business and financial aspects of Sportsman. She brings her corporate business knowledge and drive for success to create an atmosphere that demands excellence. When not at Sportsman Jessi enjoys spending time with family, watching their son play lots of baseball, and spending time with friends and neighbors.

She brings her corporate business knowledge and drive for success to create an atmosphere that demands excellence. When not at Sportsman Jessi enjoys spending time with family, watching their son play lots of baseball, and spending time with friends and neighbors.

Amber has been with Sportsman since March of 2017. Her energy and charm is usually the first thing people hear when they call the office. On top of helping clients with their service solutions she is also challenged with billing and account receivables. Amber enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves to watch football, especially when her nephews are playing.

Josh Logan
Operations Manager
Josh originally started with Sportsman Lawn & Landscape during the spring of 2007 as summer help and became a crew leader before returning back to college in 2009. Josh joined Sportsman fulltime in November of 2010 and has worked his way up the ladder to become a vital leader with Sportsman. His tasks include client relations, sales, crew management, as well as helping identify upcoming needs within the company. In his time away from Sportsman, Josh likes to spend time with his family, cook bbq competitively, and play golf.

James Lowe
Maintenance Production Manager
James joined the Sportsman team in August of 2016, as lawn maintenance labor. Since then, James has worked his way up to Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader, then Training Crew leader. He oversaw some of most Sportsman Lawn & Landscape’s most prestigious properties. Then in February of 2019, James joined our management staff as Landscape Maintenance Production Manager. He oversees our Landscape Maintenance Crews and their daily work. In his free time away from Sportsman, James enjoys spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also spends as much quality time with family as possible.
